Karen, Niamh and the VIPs
Everybody contributes to what we’re doing, all the individuals are heroes. The get togethers give everybody pleasure. Personally my wife is my hero.

Morgana
She worked at Escape Arts, she helped us during workshops. She was hilarious and we had a great bit of banter. She was doing an apprenticeship here.

His input has kept the Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre running, in a voluntary capacity. He’s Chair of the trust, also chair of the George Eliot Fellowship; a former school teacher, he had the forethought to take photos of the town when areas were being developed so there are good records of how it was.
Dean
Dean volunteers for the heritage centre. He’s here every Thursday morning, opens up, puts all the tables out and fills up the water urn. His star would have a set of keys on it. It’s not just us that he does it for.

Janet, of Stratford Climate Action
Janet works tirelessly to inform our community about, and help us to act to save ourselves, indeed the whole human race, from extinction by the results of Climate change. There of course others inside and outside SCA, doing so and I could have named them. But Janet stands as shining example of what we have to do and now, together with constant campaigning. While the rest of us fall so short in our actions.

My local litter picker
I don’t know his name – I should ask him!
I know when he’s done a litter pick because the streets in my local area are clean and tidy and look so much better.
